I recommend wearing water shoes! The sand is great, but there are some rocky areas in the water that can be a bit rough on your feet

My advice is to check out the beach bars around lunchtime. They have specials on drinks and food that are way better than the tourist traps nearby.

I suggest bringing your own beach chair or towel. Renting one can add up quickly, and lounging on the sand was perfectly fine for us!

I recommend visiting Pig Beach on a weekday, preferably around 10 AM. It's way less crowded then, and you can enjoy the pigs without feeling rushed. I went on a Saturday and it was packed!
