Old Belize

I suggest trying the local food at the small stalls rather than the pricey restaurants. The flavors at the market are authentically Belizean and way delish!

Bring cash for entrance fees and snacks. I ended up spending more than I planned because I had to use card everywhere! Just a heads up!

My advice is to check the weather before you go out. It rained on my day there, and while the park was still fun, I missed a lot of stuff.

If you're planning to enjoy the water park, I recommend popping in on a weekday. Way less crowded, and you'll zip through the slides without long waits

Make sure to rent a golf cart for a day! It’s the best way to get around the island and there’s tons to explore. Just be careful of the potholes—some roads can be pretty rough!

Bring plenty of cash! A lot of places don't accept credit cards, and we ended up scrambling for ATMs, which can be frustrating and time-consuming.

I suggest booking your diving trips in advance, especially if you want to go to the Blue Hole. It can get super busy quickly, and trust me, you don't wanna miss it.
