Moremi Game Reserve

My advice is to hire a private guide instead of going on a large group safari. You get way more personalized attention, and they know the best spots for seeing wildlife. It's worth the extra cash, and you'll save time since you won’t have to wait around for others

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The prices at the park's shops can be a bit steep and you don’t want to miss out on that perfect wildlife moment because you're waiting in line for overpriced water. Trust me I learned the hard way!
Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

My advice is to plan your game drives for early morning around 5:30 AM and late afternoon like around 4 PM. That's when the animals are most active and you'll have a better chance of spotting them!

I think it's a good idea to download offline maps before your trip. Cell service is sketchy in the park, and I got lost trying to find my way back to camp. It was a bit scary!

I recommend getting your supplies from Upington before you enter the park. The local shops have much better prices than the park shops, which can be super pricey. Trust me, you'll save a bunch!
Chobe National Park
Nxai Pan National Park

My advice is to explore the Nxai Pan during the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The wildlife is more active, and you'll catch stunning sunsets that are simply magical. Don't miss the photo ops!
Khama Rhino Sanctuary

i think you should bring along some snacks and water. the on-site cafe can be pricey with limited options, and having your own stuff saved me a bit of cash for drinks later on

My advice is to visit in the early morning, around 7 AM. The animals are super active then, and it’s way cooler outside, which makes for a more enjoyable experience. Plus, you'll beat the crowds!

I suggest packing a good pair of binoculars. You might spot some amazing wildlife from a distance, and trust me, it adds a whole new level to your visit. It's also great for saving time on long walks to get up close!
Kgale Hill Public Park

I suggest packing some snacks and plenty of water. There aren't many convenient spots to buy stuff, and the trek can be longer than you think, especially if you take detours for photos.

my advice is to wear good hiking shoes; the trails can get rocky and a bit slippery. i struggled a bit in sneakers, so lesson learned.

I recommend starting your hike around 7 AM to catch the sunrise and avoid the heat later. The views are breathtaking at that time and you'll have the path mostly to yourself!
Tsholofelo Park

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The park has limited options, and buying food there can feel a bit pricey. My picnic was a highlight of the visit!
