If you're on a budget, skip the audio guide. I found the info on the signs pretty comprehensive, and that saved me a few bucks. It’s also nice to move at your own pace.

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. You'll be walking around a lot, and some of the buildings have uneven floors. I had to tiptoe through some areas and regretted wearing sandals.

I suggest checking if there are any temporary exhibitions before visiting. I happened upon one that really complemented the main displays and made my visit even more impactful
Bayon Temple
Royal Palace
The Cambodian Circus

Consider sitting in the front rows, it gives you an amazing close-up view of the performers. But be warned, you might get some unexpected splashes if you sit too close!

Try to catch the traditional Cambodian dance segment, it’s a beautiful part of the performance you won’t want to miss. I didn’t expect it, and it blew me away!
Preah Khan Temple
Wat Phnom
Independence Monument

I suggets visiting on a weekday to avoid the big groups. It was much easier to take photos and appreciate the monument without the crowds.

If you're up for local snacks, there's a street vendor nearby that sells delicious fried bananas. Definitely grab a few after your visit.

I recommend going around 5 PM to catch the sunset. The colors are stunning on the monument and it's a lot cooler than during midday. Perfect for photos!
Bangmealea

Bring some snacks and water with you. There aren’t many shops nearby, and you'll want the energy to explore all those amazing carvings!
