If you want to save some cash, buy tickets online in advance. I thought I could buy them on-site, but the line was super long
Prairie Mountain

I suggest bringing a good camera for the top views, but also remember a small tripod to get those perfect shots, especially during golden hour. You won’t regret it!

My advice is to pack some snacks and plenty of water. There are no shops once you start your hike and trust me you'll get hungry on the way up!

I think it’s worth checking the weather a few days ahead. It can change fast, and I got caught in unexpected rain. Waterproof gear is a must if the forecast looks cloudy!

If you're planning to hike up Prairie Mountain, I recommend starting around 7 AM. The earlier you go, the nicer the weather and fewer people you encounter. Plus, you get to enjoy the sunrise views!

Tunnel Mountain

If you want to save some cash, pack your own lunch. The restaurants in Banff can be pricey, and there are some beautiful spots to eat on the trail.

Start your hike early, around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds and catch the sunrise – trust me, the views are breathtaking. I wished I had done this!
Sulphur Mountain

My advice is to wear good shoes! The trails can get a bit slippery, and I wished I'd brought my hiking boots instead of sneakers. Trust me, your feet will thank you!
