I suggest getting to the beach early, like around 8 AM, to snag the best spots and enjoy the peaceful vibe before the crowds roll in. Trust me, it's worth it!

I recommend checking the weather ahead of time. We ended up with a surprise rain shower. It cleared up, but it was a bummer to be stuck under an umbrella for a bit.

Be aware of the local vendors; they can be persistent! I almost bought a super overpriced souvenir but ended up walking away, and I'm glad I did. Just be polite and firm.

If you're planning to do any water sports, book them in advance. I thought I could just walk up and rent something, but the good stuff was all booked up for the day.

I suggest visiting during the week instead of the weekend, as it gets super busy with locals. You’ll have a more chill experience and it’s easier to find parking.

Don't miss out on the local food vendors! I tried some amazing empanadas and fresh coconuts for a fraction of the price of beach restaurants.

If you're planning to rent a beach chair, make sure to haggle a bit! I saved a couple of bucks just by asking for a better deal.

I recommend getting to the beach by around 8 AM. It’s way less crowded and you can snag a great spot right by the water before the sun gets too hot.

Plan to stay until sunset! The colors are stunning and it adds an extra magic to your day. Some of the best photos I took were as the sun dipped.

If you're staying in Samana, take the local ferry instead of booking an expensive tour. It saves loads of cash and it's a fun ride! Just check the schedule online 'cause it can vary.

If you're planning to rent a sunbed, try to get there before 10 AM. I got a great spot at 9:30, but when I left around noon, the good spots were all taken!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars can be a bit pricey, and having your own stuff will save you some cash. Plus, you can enjoy it right by the water without worrying about the bill.

Don’t forget to wear reef-safe sunscreen! I made the mistake of not reading the labels, and it really sucked knowing I might be harming the ocean. Plus, it’s good for your skin too!

Check out the local shops for beach gear instead of going to the touristy stores along the beach. I found some cool souvenirs at half the price, and it felt more authentic

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks rather than buying them at the beach. The prices can be a bit outrageous, and there's nothing like enjoying your own goodies by the ocean

Check out nearby beach bars for happy hour deals around 4 PM. You can save some cash on cocktails while watching the sunset.

Don't forget to bring cash if you plan to rent umbrellas or chairs; many places don’t accept cards, and having cash on hand will just make things easier.

I suggest bringing some snacks and drinks because the local options can be a bit pricey. I was shocked by the beach bar prices! You're gonna want to enjoy the beach without stressing about your wallet.

I think renting a kayak is a great idea, but don't pay the first price you see. Shop around a bit and you might find a better deal nearby. I saved a few bucks that way!
