Petanque Charente Committee
I recommend visiting on a sunny weekend afternoon around 3 PM. It gets busy, and there’s more energy in the air with everyone playing and socializing.
Check the schedule for tournaments before you go! I missed out on one by a day and it looked super fun. They have an awesome vibe during competitions.
Don't forget to try the local café nearby! I grabbed a coffee there and the prices were much better than the ones at the venue. Trust me, it’s worth a break!
Bring your own boules if you can! Rentals are available, but they can be a bit pricey. I saved money by using my own and they felt way nicer to play with.
Romagnat Petanque
I think it’s a good idea to check if there are any local tournaments happening when you visit. I stumbled upon one and got to watch some amazing skills in action, making my experience unforgettable!
Petanque Bellerivoise
French Federation of Petanque and Provencal Game
Comite Departemental des Pyrenees Atlantiques Petanque et Jeu Provencal
My advice is to bring your own petanque balls if you have them. Rentals can be a bit pricey, and it's more fun to use your own gear that you’re comfortable with
