Metropolitan Museum of Art

I recommend planning your visit around lunchtime. The café has some great food, and taking a break there gives you time to recharge without losing valuable exhibit time.

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekends can get super crowded, and you'll have a better experience when it's quieter. I went on a Tuesday and it was way more relaxing!
If you're into photography, try to snap pics in the late afternoon when the light is just right. It really adds something special to your memories – I wish I had taken more during that time!
Louvre

Don’t miss the smaller exhibits. Everyone rushes to see the Mona Lisa, but the lesser-known art is often just as stunning and far less crowded.

I recommend grabbing lunch at Café Marly. It's a bit pricey, but the views of the pyramid are worth it for a meal!
If you can, visit on a Wednesday or Friday evening. It’s open late, and the crowds are way lighter after 6 PM.

I suggest getting your tickets online beforehand to skip those monstrous lines. I waited over an hour and it killed my vibe!
Museum d'Orsay

Don't skip the café on the top floor! It has a great view of the Seine and serves decent food. I grabbed lunch there and loved the vibe.

Check out the free entry days, like the first Sunday of each month. It’s super crowded, but if you're on a budget, it's worth it

Take your time with the Impressionist section. I rushed through it and later regretted not soaking in the beauty of the details. Spend extra time here if you can!
Tokyo Palace

bring a small snack! there's not much food available inside and i woulda loved to munch while enjoying the exhibits.

Check out their late-night openings on Thursdays! It was way less crowded and the lighting adds a cool vibe to the art.

I highly recommend grabbing your tickets online to skip the long lines. It saves you so much time, trust me!

If you're planning to visit on a weekend, try to arrive by 10 AM. It gets super crowded later!
Paris City Museum of Contemporary Art

Don't skip the gift shop! I found some cool, unique art books and little souvenirs that were way cheaper than most tourist shops around. Save a few bucks and get something special!

I think using public transport is a must. The nearest metro station can be a bit of a hike, but parking is a pain and super expensive.
Mirror Gallery

If you're planning on taking photos, bring a good camera. The lighting in the gallery is stunning, and a phone camera just won't do it justice. I regret not bringing my DSLR for those perfect shots!

I suggest grabbing lunch at a nearby café instead of the palace eateries. They can be overpriced and crowded, but there's some great, affordable local food just a short walk away.

definitely get there around 9 am when it opens. the crowds get crazy later, and you want to enjoy the space without feeling rushed. i wish i had timed it better!
Grotte De Glace

Check the weather before you go. It can get really chilly inside, so dress in layers! I was a bit underdressed and wished I had a warmer jacket while exploring.
Try to visit on a weekday if you can. The weekend crowds can be overwhelming, and I had a much more enjoyable experience when there were fewer people around

Bring a small backpack with snacks and water. The café options are limited and a bit pricey, so having your own food saved me some cash and kept my energy up while exploring.
Sea Marine Museum

My advice is to visit on a Wednesday afternoon around 2 PM. It was way less crowded then, so I could really take my time enjoying the exhibits without feeling rushed.
The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design

plan to visit on a weekday preferably around 2 pm. the crowd thins out making it easier to admire the artworks and take photos without too many people in the way. i made that mistake going on a weekend and it was pretty packed!

I suggest grabbing a coffee at the café inside before you start exploring. It gives you a nice break and also a chance to check out the cool décor around you. The pastries are delish too, so don't miss out!
