Louvre

Don’t miss the smaller exhibits. Everyone rushes to see the Mona Lisa, but the lesser-known art is often just as stunning and far less crowded.

I recommend grabbing lunch at Café Marly. It's a bit pricey, but the views of the pyramid are worth it for a meal!
If you can, visit on a Wednesday or Friday evening. It’s open late, and the crowds are way lighter after 6 PM.

I suggest getting your tickets online beforehand to skip those monstrous lines. I waited over an hour and it killed my vibe!
Augustinian Museum

I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially in the afternoon around 2 PM. It's way less crowded then, and you can really soak in the art without feeling rushed.

make sure to wear comfy shoes! the museum is pretty big with lots of walking around, so you don’t wanna be in pain halfway through.
The Machines of the Island

Bring a portable charger! You're going to want to take tons of pictures, and trust me, the giant mechanical elephant is a photo op you don't want to miss!

I think it's best to visit during the week if you can. The weekend crowds can make it a bit overwhelming, and you'll have a better experience with fewer people around.

If you're planning to ride on the carousel, make sure to buy your tickets early in the day. They can sell out quickly, especially on weekends!

My advice is to take your time in the workshops. Watching the artisans at work is inspiring and gives you a real feel for the creativity that goes into the machines.
Center Georges Pompidou

If you want to enjoy the view from the rooftop terrace without the crowds, go on a weekday earlier around 10:00 AM. It was so peaceful!

Check the museum's schedule for free entry days. I found out there’s a day every month when entry is totally free, which was awesome!

You can get a discount if you buy tickets online in advance. I saved a few euros and skipped the long ticket line by doing this!
Grand Palais

My advice is to combine your Grand Palais visit with the nearby Petit Palais. It's free and just as stunning for art lovers – a perfect two-for-one deal!

I think grabbing a quick bite from the cafes at the Grand Palais won't break the bank, but make sure to check the menus online first to avoid any sticker shock!

Plan your visit around any temporary exhibitions. I stumbled upon a stunning art display that was totally worth the ticket price and it was a great surprise!
City of Wine

If you're on a budget, consider visiting during the off-peak seasons. I went in April and it was way less crowded, plus you can get some discounts.

If you're not a big wine fan, ask the staff for recommendations on which exhibits are more interactive or beginner-friendly. They really helped me enjoy my visit more.

I suggest checking out the little wine shop inside the City of Wine before you leave. They have cool stuff at prices way better than souvenir shops in the city.
Army Museum

My advice is to don't rush through the WWI and WWII exhibits. Take your time with those sections because they have some really touching stories and artifacts that you shouldn’t miss.

I totally suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. That way you can avoid the huge crowds and get nice selfies without a ton of strangers in the background.

I’d recommend taking a moment at the Napoleon’s tomb – it’s not just for the photos, but knowing the history there really brings the whole museum to life.

If you can, grab a combined ticket for the museum and the nearby Invalides chapel. It's a bit cheaper compared to buying them separately, and both are worth your time.
Grevin Museum

Make sure to check out the interactive exhibits. They were a fun surprise for me, and I think they really added something special to the experience!

Bring a power bank for your phone. You'll want to snap lots of pictures, and my phone was dying halfway through the visit because I forgot to charge it!

If you're planning to visit the gift shop, set a budget before you go in. I ended up spending more than I intended because there are so many cute souvenirs!

Buy your tickets online in advance. I saved quite a bit by booking ahead, plus I skipped the long lines at the entrance!
Light Museum

My advice is to take the audio guide. It gives you cool insights that you won't find just roaming around. I found it super helpful!

I recommend buying your tickets online to skip the long queue at the entrance. It saved me a bunch of time!

I suggest bringing a light jacket. The museum can get chilly, especially around the projection areas.
Palais Galliera, The City of Paris Fashion Museum

I suggest checking the exhibition schedule online before you go, coz sometimes they have amazing temporary exhibits that aren't around for long.
I recommend grabbing a coffee at the nearby café. The views are nice and it’s a good way to recharge before heading back inside.

I think visiting late in the afternoon, around 4 PM, is a great idea. Lots of space to roam and you get that last hour to soak it all in before closing
