Lakes Places Map
Lakes in France:
Lake Annecy
Don't miss the cheese and charcuterie shops in the old town. I found some great local specialties that weren't too pricey! It'll make your picnic spot even better!
I suggest grabbing lunch at one of the local bakeries instead of the sit-down restaurants. They have tasty baguettes and pastries that are way cheaper and perfect for a picnic by the lake!
Lac Blanc
I suggest packing a good lunch and snacks to enjoy by the lake. There aren't many places to grab food nearby, and a picnic by the water is the best way to take a break. Don't forget the water!
I think it's worth checking out the trails that lead away from the main path. Less people, and you might find a hidden spot to chill or score some awesome views. Just be careful with your map!
Le Lac des Corbeaux
Lac de Tignes
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The cafes can be pretty pricey, and you don’t wanna get stuck paying 5 euros for a soda!
Lacs Robert
Allier Lake
Lac de Tueda
Blue Lake
Metz Lake
I suggest visiting Metz Lake in the early morning around 8 AM. You’ll beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful stroll before the activity picks up. Plus, the sunrise over the water is just stunning.
Lac de Javen
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. There’s not much around, and the little cafes can be pricey. Packing a picnic made our day so much more enjoyable!
