Top Waterfalls in Indonesia

Check the weather before you go. I had planned my visit for a sunny day, but it ended up being cloudy and only got glimpses of the waterfall's full glory. Sunny days make a big difference!

Make sure to wear good hiking shoes! The trek down to the waterfall can be slippery and steep so don’t underestimate it. I almost slipped a few times because I wore sandals.

I suggest you bring some snacks and plenty of water with you. There aren’t many vendors around, and it’s a lot more enjoyable to relax by the waterfall with a snack in hand

I recomment bringing some snacks and water... The trek is pretty demanding, and there aren’t any vendors right by the waterfall... Plus, it saves you some cash!

don’t forget to bring a rain jacket or poncho. it can get misty from the waterfall spray, and i got soaked during my visit! a bit of prep can keep you dry.

If you’re a bit adventurous, maybe consider packing a swimsuit! The water is inviting, and I wish I had taken a dip when I visited.

I think the best time to visit is around 3 PM. The light is perfect for photos, and it’s less crowded than the morning.
