I recommend booking your session in advance online, since it gets super busy on weekends. It saved me a lot of waiting time and I got a better rate too.

Don’t forget to wear water shoes, or at least something comfortable that can get wet. I wore my regular sneakers and they took ages to dry, making the hike less fun. Plus, water shoes are just better for grip.

Give yourself plenty of time to explore! Aim to start by 8 AM, especially if you're planning to do the Ibex Trail. I barely finished my trek because I didn’t account for how stunning the views are - took way more photos than I thought!

Make sure to bring plenty of water! I didn’t realize how quickly I'd go through it out there. You can pick some up in Wadi Rum Village for cheaper than in touristy areas.
