Vigeland Sculpture Park

If you're into photography, golden hour in the evening is amazing. The lighting makes the sculptures look even more stunning. I wish I had known this beforehand!
My advice is to keep an eye out for the less popular sculptures. Some of them have unique stories that can make your visit even more interesting. I found a few hidden gems with cool backgrounds!

Wear comfy shoes. You’ll be walking a lot more than you expect and the paths can be uneven. Trust me, your feet will thank you later.

I recommend hitting the park early around 9 AM. It’s way less crowded, so you can snap those perfect shots and enjoy the sculptures without people blocking your view
The Viking Ship Museum
Fram Museum

If you're looking to save some cash, check out the combo ticket for the Fram Museum and the nearby Kon-Tiki Museum. You save a bit off the price when visiting both!

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM to avoid the crowds. The museum is super popular, and it's way more enjoyable when it’s less packed!
Norwegian Folk Museum
Holmenkollen Ski Museum

My advice is to take the bus instead of the metro to Holmenkollen. It gives you a really nice view of the surrounding area, and it's often less crowded. Plus, it makes for a more enjoyable ride!

I highly recommend getting your tickets online before your visit. It saved me a lot of time waiting in line! Plus, you might find some discounts if you book early. Don't let those lines eat up your day!
Norwegian Technical Museum

Some of the best parts are the interactive exhibits so really take your time there. My advice is to plan at least an hour in that part so you don’t miss anything fun.
Kon Tiki Museum
Munch Museum

I recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid crowds, especially in the morning around 10 AM. It made my experience so much more enjoyable without the hustle and bustle.

Don't miss the rooftop terrace! The view of Oslo is stunning and it's a perfect spot to take a breather after exploring the artworks.

Check for discounted tickets online before you go! I snagged mine for a lower price, which saved me a few bucks.

Take your time in the gallery; I rushed through initially but ended up going back to soak in the details of Munch's work – it’s totally worth it!
Astrup Fearnley Museum of Contemporary Art
The Nobel Peace Center

If you're planning to visit on the weekend, try to go right when it opens at 10 AM to avoid the crowds. I went later, and it was totally packed!

My advice is to take your time with the exhibits, especially the interactive ones. I rushed through and ended up missing some impactful pieces. Just soak it all in!

Bring a little snack or water. There’s a cute café inside but it's a bit overpriced. I wish I had something on hand instead of shelling out for a tiny sandwich.

I suggest grabbing the audio guide, it's not too pricey and really adds to the experience. I didn't get one at first and missed out on some cool stories!
