I recommend wearing water shoes. The sand is great, but there are some sharp rocks in the water. Trust me, I learned this the hard way on my first swim!

I suggest bringing your own snacks and water, because prices at nearby shops can be a bit steep. I regretted not packing some food for a beach day.

Definitely try to find local transport for cheaper rides to get there. I wasted money on taxis, but buses were super easy and way more affordable!

My advice is to visit around 3 PM... The sunset views from Long Beach are breathtaking, and the crowds start to thin out, giving you the perfect vibe to relax
