El Yunque National Forest
I suggest arriving right when the park opens around 7 AM to snag a good parking spot and avoid the crowds on popular trails... Trust me it's way more peaceful in the morning
bring your own snacks and water! the nearby shops can be pricey, and having your own food saved me some extra cash and kept my energy up while hiking.
Jobos Beach
If you're looking to surf, I think catching the waves early, around 8 AM, is the way to go. The water's calmer and it's less crowded then, giving you space to practice!
Ultimate Trolley Beach
Isla Verde Beach
I suggest checking out the local kiosks for authentic Puerto Rican street food. The prices are way better than sit-down places and the flavors are amazing. I had the best alcapurrias there!
Balneario Punta Salinas
Watch out for the parking! If you come after 10 AM, it can be a hassle to find a spot close by. Plan ahead or try to use public transport.
I suggest heading to Punta Salinas super early, like around 7 AM. The calm before the crowds hits is the best time for a clean beach and stunning sunrise pics.
Cueva Ventana
El Escambron Beach
For a tasty bite, check out the food truck near the entrance. I had a chimi burger and it was killer.
Bring your own snorkel gear if you can! I saw so many colorful fish without having to rent gear.
Flamenco Beach
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The beach food isn't bad, but it can be pricey, and you don't want to break the bank just for a cold drink!
Caracas Beach
Hobie Beach
i suggest checking out the local food trucks just a bit away from the beach. the food is delicious and usually way cheaper than the restaurants nearby; you'll get a better taste of local flavors!
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The beach vendors can be pricey, and you'll find it way more chill having your own picnic vibe
