Don’t forget to explore the outdoor area! I was so focused on the exhibits that I almost skipped the beautiful sculptures outside. Take a stroll after your visit!

I recommend arriving around 10 AM to beat the crowds – this really helps you enjoy the exhibits at a more leisurely pace without feeling rushed.

I suggest checking out the latest exhibition schedule online before your visit, so you know what to expect and don’t miss anything cool. I missed an interactive show that was only on for a couple days!

Pro tip: Use the Oculus app if you're into augmented reality. It adds a neat layer to your experience and it’s free! I had a blast with this!
Madame Tussauds Singapore

Check out the schedule for live shows or performances before you go. I almost missed a cool show because I didn't look ahead. It added a nice touch to my visit

Take your time in the Celebrity Chamber; I rushed through it and missed some great photo ops. You won't want to miss capturing those Insta-worthy moments!

I suggest booking your tickets online in advance; it saves you time and sometimes there's a discount. I found that the lines can get pretty long if you buy at the door.

If you're into the interactive experiences, don't skip the Virtual Reality ride. It was surprisingly fun! But plan ahead as it can have long wait times during peak hours.
The Science Centre Singapore

Grab a quick bite at the café in between exhibits. It's not the cheapest, but the food is pretty decent, way better than vending machine snacks.

Especially for kids, the outdoor water play area is a must! Remember to bring a change of clothes, because you’ll want to let them splash around!

I think the better part of the Science Centre is the IMAX theatre. If you like movies, don’t skip it! But be ready to book a ticket ahead of time; it fills up fast.

Be mindful of your time with the exhibits. Some self-guided spots can lead you down a rabbit hole if you’re not careful! Set a timer if you want to catch everything!
Museum of Asian Civilizations

My advice is to check out the rotating exhibitions first because they can be a hit or miss, and you don’t want to miss out on the good stuff! I was surprised by how cool the special exhibits were.

If you're looking to save some dough, grab lunch at a nearby hawker center instead of the museum café. The food is delish and way cheaper!
Red Dot Design Museum
Malay Heritage Centre

I suggest visiting on a weekday afternoon; it was way less crowded and I could take my time exploring. Plus I got to chat with the staff who were super helpful.

If you're on a budget, consider packing a light snack. The café inside isn't the best value, and I ended up spending more than I planned!
Peranakan Museum

I suggest checking their schedule online before your visit. I went on a Monday and found out they were closed, which was such a bummer. Definitely plan ahead to avoid that kind of mistake.

My advice is to take your time in the museum. There are so many intricate details in the exhibits—like the furniture and clothing—that you’ll want to soak it all in. Grab a spot on one of the benches and relax for a bit.

I think you should try to catch any workshops or talks they might have. I stumbled upon a great pottery demo while I was there. It really added a cool, hands-on element to my visit!
