Mount Triglov

My advice is to bring some cash. While many places accept cards, some smaller vendors might not, especially in the more remote areas.

Don't forget to check the weather before you go! It can change rapidly up there; I got caught in the rain, and it wasn't fun!

If you plan to hike, make sure to bring enough water and snacks. There are only a few places to refill in the park, and you don’t wanna get caught without supplies!

I met a lot of friendly locals at the small shops in the area. They can give you some insider tips on less crowded trails; don’t hesitate to ask them!
Tivoli Park

If you're keen on a walk, take the upper pathways. The views of Ljubljana are stunning there, and it’s less crowded than the main paths, so it feels more peaceful.

Check out the Art Pavilion and the National Gallery while you're in the park. They’re close by and the entrance fees are reasonable, plus it’s a great way to escape the sun on a hot day.
Maribor City Park

I recommend checking out the mini-golf in the park. It’s super fun and only a few euros! We stumbled upon it and had a blast—definitely a nice break from just walking around.
