Don't forget to pack snacks and plenty of water. The food options are limited and can be pricy in the park, so bringing your own stuff is a good way to save a few rand.

Plan your visits around the morning or late afternoon, like around 9 AM or after 4 PM. The light is just stunning for photos and you’ll likely spot more wildlife, plus it’s cooler too!

I recommend getting to the park around 7 AM. The early morning is the best time to spot the elephants and other wildlife before it gets too hot and crowded.

I recommend checking out the small local market if it’s on, especially on Sundays. You’ll find unique crafts and yummy food, which makes for a nice way to spend some time

Check the weather before you go. It can change quickly and having an umbrella or a light jacket can save you from a soggy experience. I learned that the hard way!

I suggest bringing a picnic! The park is so beautiful and it’s a great way to relax after a hike. There are some nice spots to chill, plus it’ll save you some money on food.
