Emmentaler Schaukaeserei
Appenzeller Schaukaeserei
If you want a good photo op, swing by the outside area around 3 PM. The light is just perfect for capturing the beautiful Swiss landscape along with your cheese adventures!
I think the cheese tasting experience is a must! Don't rush it; take your time to enjoy the different flavors. I suggest going around 1 PM when it’s less crowded.
Stockengut
Ballenberg Open Air Museum
I suggest grabbing a map from the entrance. It shows all the workshops, and you can plan which cheesemaking demos you don’t want to miss, especially if you're a cheese lover!
Chasegge Oerlikon
My advice is to pick up some cheese to take home but check the prices first! Some of them can be surprisingly steep so ask about smaller portions or special deals. I wish I had done that.
The Singer of the Chasseral
My advice is to try the cheese tastings – they're super worth it! I thought they were pricy at first, but honestly, the flavors were amazing and I left with a huge smile and a few cheeses in my bag!
Les Caves Du Pelerin
Fromagerie d'Alpage de Moleson
If you can, visit around 10 AM. The place *really* starts to get busy later, and you'll enjoy a more relaxed experience without the crowd. Trust me, it's worth it!
