Lviv National Opera
If you wanna save some cash, try snagging your tickets on a weekday instead of the weekend. I found the same seats were cheaper on Tuesday compared to Friday!
Potemkin Stairs
Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The complex is huge and you'll be doing a lot of walking. I wish I had known this beforehand!

If you're on a budget, skip the café inside and pack some snacks. I spent way too much on a simple coffee. Picnic vibe outside is much better!

Don't miss the beautiful views from the upper grounds, especially around sunset. I almost left without seeing it, and I would've regretted it!
Golden Gate
Motherland

I recommend taking the funicular nearby to see the views from the top. It’s a unique experience and saves your legs a bit of a workout!

If you're on a budget, check out surrounding parks for some great picnic spots. They’re peaceful and let you soak up the atmosphere without spending a dime

If you're into history, don’t miss the nearby Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The entry ticket is pretty cheap and it adds so much to your experience.

Bring some water and snacks. There aren’t many facilities around the monument, and you might need a break after all the walking.
Church of St. Olga and Elizabeth
St. Andrew's Church
Mikhailovsky Golden-Domed Monastery

I recommend checking the local events calendar. Sometimes there are concerts or exhibitions that are totally free and super interesting.

I think it's worth scanning the area for young artists selling their work. You could find some unique pieces to take home!
Vladimir Cathedral
Cathedral of Saint Jura
Check out the small museum inside if you have time; it’s pretty interesting and not too crowded, plus it gives you some great context about the cathedral's history... I really enjoyed it!

Don't miss the view from outside the cathedral! There are some great spots around the steps to take pics, especially with the gardens in bloom; I regretted not getting enough shots.
