Venetian Pool
If you can, bring water shoes. The bottom of the pool is a bit rocky in places, and having something on your feet helped me a lot!
I recommend visiting during the week instead of the weekend. I went on a Friday and it was way less crowded which made the experience so much more enjoyable.
Jim Montgomery Swim School
My advice is to bring your own towels and snacks. The café was a bit pricey, and I could have saved some cash by preparing ahead.
I suggest visiting during the weekday mornings if you can. It's way less crowded and you'll get more one-on-one time with the instructors.
Ocaquatics Swim School Eureka
Arrive 15 minutes early to get your paperwork done and find your way around. The parking lot can get packed, and you don’t want to rush your kids before their lessons.
The Plunge San Diego
I suggest arriving right when it opens at 9 AM. It gets super crowded later, and you’ll get a much better spot for sunbathing and swimming before the families arrive.
Children of the Sea
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The cafes there can be pretty pricey and having your own stuff really helped save some cash for the cool souvenirs instead.
I recommend visiting around 11 AM when the sun is up but the crowds are still manageable. It felt way more relaxed at that time and we snagged some great spots to lounge
Houston Swim Club Sharpstown
I recommend checking out their schedule for family swim times before you go. I went during an adult swim session by mistake and missed out on some fun with my kids!
i suggest bringing your own towels and snacks to save on rental costs and avoid overpriced concessions. it helped me stay comfortable and keep my energy up while swimming!
