Beaches Places Map
Beaches in Queensland:
South Coast Park
Noosa Main Beach
Four Mile Beach
I recommend visiting Four Mile Beach early in the morning around 7 AM... The sunrise is stunning and it’s much less crowded, giving you a peaceful vibe
If you're into beach activities, look for rental gear at nearby shops. I found it way cheaper than expected, and it’s more convenient than bringing everything with you.
The Strand
My advice is to rent a bike to cruise along the promenade. It’s a fun way to explore, and it saves time compared to just walking around. Plus, you can cover more ground!
If you're planning to swim, make sure to bring reef shoes... The sand can get a bit hot, and there are some rocky areas that can be a bit uncomfortable without them
Burleigh Head National Park
Burleigh Heads Beach
Snapper Rocks
Coolangatta Beach
I think walking along the beach towards Snapper Rocks is a must! The views are stunning, but be careful with the tide; I almost got soaked!
Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks. There are not too many affordable places near the beach, and we ended up spending way too much at the kiosks.
Palm Cove Beach
Kurrawa Beach
I suggest exploring the walking paths along the beach – they lead to some stunning views and are less crowded than the shore, plus it's a nice break from the sand!
