Great Barrier Reef

I recommend booking your snorkeling trips at least a day in advance. Some spots fill up quickly and you don’t wanna miss out on the good ones!

My advice is to take an underwater camera. I regret not bringing one along! The reef is gorgeous and you'll want to capture those moments.

Don't just stick to the popular spots! I thought exploring the lesser-known parts of the reef was way more peaceful and there were fewer crowds.

I think doing the sunset cruise was a highlight for me! The views are breathtaking and it’s a great way to wind down after a busy day. Don’t miss it!
Australia Zoo

I think bringing a refillable water bottle is a must. It’s hot out there, and you can refill it at various stations throughout the zoo. Stay hydrated!

If you're planning to eat there, skip the cafe and pack a picnic! The grounds are perfect for a lunch break, and it saves you some cash too

Be mindful of the sun! I forgot sunscreen and regretted it big time. Wear a hat, and maybe bring a lightweight blanket for those nice shady spots!

I recccomend getting there early, around 9 AM, to beat the crowds and enjoy the animal shows without feeling rushed. The koala encounter was my fave!
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes! You'll be walking a lot, and some areas are a bit hilly. Trust me, your feet will thank you later!

If you want to get that perfect selfie with a koala, timing is key! Try to visit during feeding times for the best interaction.

I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially around 10 AM, when the crowds are smaller, and the animals are more active. It makes for a relaxing experience!

Bring your own snacks or lunch! The food at the café can be pricey, and the picnic areas are perfect for enjoying a break with a view.
