My advice is to wear sturdy shoes. I underestimated how slippery the paths could get near the viewing platforms and one wrong step could end up being a wet one!

I suggest checking the weather before you head out. I went on a rainy day and missed the falls in all their glory. A sunny day will really make the colors pop!

My advice is to arrive around 8 AM to beat the crowds. The morning light makes the falls look even more stunning too!
