Hisense Arena

my advice is to bring a refillable water bottle. they have plenty of water stations, so it can save you a ton of cash on drinks throughout the event.

I think checking the Hisense Arena's website for available parking deals is a smart move. I ended up paying a bit too much just because I didn't plan ahead. So, definitely look for those discounts
Gunnamatta Trail Rides
Uncle Nev's Trail Riding

Bring some cash for tips or snacks afterward. I found out that credit cards aren't always accepted at the end, and it’s nice to support the friendly staff who made the experience great.

I recommend booking your ride in advance to secure your spot; it gets busy, especially on weekends. I didn’t, and ended up waiting longer than expected.

If you can, try to go in the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The heat was much more bearable, and the sunset views were just stunning.

Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. I wore sandals, and it was a bit of a struggle – my feet weren't too happy after the ride!
Snipers Den Paintball Melbourne

I recommend booking your session online ahead of time to save a few bucks. They had a discount for early bookings, which helped me buy more paintballs!

My advice is to wear old clothes you don't mind getting muddy or stained. I thought I could wear my good sneakers, but they got ruined!

I think arriving around 10 AM is best. You beat the crowds, plus you get the first pick of the best gear and spots on the field.

I suggest bringing some snacks and drinks if you can. The onsite food can be a bit pricey, and after a few rounds of paintball, you will definitely be hungry!
AIM Archery Club
Melbourne Cricket Ground

I recommend getting there at least 1 hour before a game. It gives you time to take a look around, grab a snack, and avoid the rush. Trust me, it gets super crowded!

If you want decent food, skip the fast food stands inside the ground. I suggest walking a bit to nearby eateries. They have way better options and the prices aren’t insane.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The place is huge and I underestimated all the walking I’d be doing. My feet were sore by the end of the day!
Lake Mountain

I suggest hitting the slopes early at around 8:30 AM to avoid the rush and snag some fresh powder for skiing! It gets crowded fast and you’ll enjoy more time on the trails.

Bring your own food! The cafes can be pricey and the lines get long during lunch. Pack a few snacks and a thermos of coffee to save some cash and energy.
SSAA Springvale Range
Wyncity Point Cook

I think it’s worth bringing your own socks for bowling if you have them. They charge for rental socks there, and it's a small way to save some cash!

I suggest showing up right when they open, around 10 AM, to beat the weekend crowds. You’ll have more freedom for bowling lanes and laser tag without the wait.

My advice is to check for any deals online before you book. I found some cool combo offers that saved me a few bucks compared to walk-in prices.

If you love a good game, I recommend trying laser tag first! It's a blast and gives you a chance to loosen up before hitting the bowling lanes.
Hotham Alpine Resort

My advice is to try the 'Hotham First Timer's Package' if you're new to snowboarding or skiing. It's a great deal that includes lessons and gear rental!

I recommend checking the weather and snow conditions on their website before heading out. I went when it rained, which was a bit of a disappointment!

I suggest booking your lift tickets online in advance. It saved me a good amount of time and helped dodge those long lines at the ticket counter.

For food, I think it’s better to pack your own snacks. The resort options can get kinda pricey and you might end up spendin' more than you planned.
