Vridelni kolonada

If you want to save some cash, check out the local bakeries for snacks instead of the touristy restaurants. I stumbled upon an amazing place that had fresh pastries!

I suggest visiting around 9 AM; it's way less crowded and you'll get better photos without people in the background.

Don't skip the nearby colonnades! They're super beautiful too, and you can get some great views of the area while avoiding the main tourist spots.
Letna Gardens

Grab a coffee and a pastry at one of the nearby cafes before heading to the gardens. It’s a great way to fuel up and enjoy the stunning views from above while you munch.

If you've got some time, walk over to the nearby Letna Beer Garden. It's a cool spot to relax with a local brew after your stroll in the gardens.
Bohemian Switzerland National Park

I recommend starting your hike early, like around 7 AM. The trails are way less crowded then, and you can really soak in the stunning views without feeling rushed.

Grab some snacks at a local store before hitting the trails. I ended up paying way too much at the restaurants in the park. Saving money this way really helps!

If you're into photography, try to visit the Pravčická brána around sunset. The light is just fantastic, and the colors are unreal. It was totally worth waiting a bit!
Sumava National Park

i highly recommend using public transport to get to the park. it’s cheap and the routes are pretty convenient. i drove once and ended up stuck in traffic looking for parking.

Try to visit during the weekdays instead of the weekend. I went on a Saturday and it was way too crowded, especially at the most famous spots. Weekdays are much more peaceful for exploring.

Don't skip the visitor centers! They have cool exhibits and maps that’ll help you get oriented. I spent too much time guessing the trails, and a quick stop would’ve saved me a lot of wandering.

My advice is to bring cash. Some of the smaller shops and eateries don't accept cards, and you'll miss out on delicious local snacks if you find yourself short on cash.
Wallenstein Garden
Klinovec

My advice is to grab the ski passes online in advance. I waited in line for about 30 min. It was so annoying and took away from my fun time on the slopes

If you love a good coffee after a long trek, hit the little café near the ski lift around 4 PM. I ended up grabbing a hot chocolate and baklava there and it totally made my day!
I suggest checking the weather before you go, it can change fast up there! I had a sunny start, but then a storm rolled in. Bring layers, or you might be really cold or too hot!

I recommend exploring some off-piste routes if you're experienced! I found some amazing untouched areas, but be careful... The trails can get tricky and I got a bit lost at one point
Divoka Sharka
Havlicek Gardens

If you're looking to save some cash, I recommend checking out local transport options instead of taxis. The tram is super convenient and close by!

I suggest going to Havlicek Gardens early in the morning, around 8 AM, when it's less crowded and the air is fresh. Perfect for a peaceful stroll.
My advice is to keep an eye out for the lookout tower. It offers stunning views of the city if you don't mind climbing some stairs.
