Don't forget to grab a snack from local vendors outside. I found some yummy street food that made my visit even more enjoyable.
If you can, try to go around 10 AM when the crowds are smaller. I went later and it was packed, which affected my photos a lot.
I suggest checking out the view from the top. I didn't realize how stunning it would be—worth the climb!
Aqueduct Pont du Gard
My advice is to wear comfortable shoes! You’ll want to explore the surrounding trails and it can get pretty rocky, so be ready for some walking.

When you visit, don't forget to look up at the architecture details – they're stunning! I regret not doing a bit of research beforehand to appreciate the history more
If you can, try to visit around 8 am. The square is so calm and peaceful then with beautiful morning light – great for photos without the crowds!
My advice is to wear comfy shoes, especially if you plan to stroll around. The cobblestones are charming but can be tough on your feet after a while.

Check the weather before you go! It gets sunny, and you definitely want to bring a hat or sunscreen to avoid getting burnt. I forgot mine and ended up finding shade a lot!
Take some time to explore the surrounding gardens and pathways; they're just as beautiful as the promenade itself! I found some hidden spots perfect for photos.
Millau Viaduct
Bring snacks and drinks along – there are spots to relax and enjoy the view, which makes the experience way more enjoyable and saves you from overpriced food nearby.
Check out the vantage points along the D992 road for stunning photos without the crowds. I got some amazing shots there!
Cathedrale St. Pierre
I suggest visiting the Cathedral in the late afternoon, around 5 PM. The lighting is just perfect for photos and it’s less crowded, so you can take your time and really soak in the details.
Check out the little shops nearby for some local treats once you’re done inside... I found some awesome souvenirs! Prices are way better than in the main tourist areas
When I went, I didn’t realize that entry is free, which is amazing. My advice is to take a moment to appreciate the stunning interior without feeling rushed.
Be sure to look up at the ceiling! I almost missed it while admiring the walls. The architecture is really breathtaking and deserves a good look. I think it’s one of the highlights of the cathedral.

I think exploring the surrounding area is key! Check out the nearby parks and little trails for a full day of adventure without the hassle of crwods.
My advice is to bring a snack or picnic. There are lovely spots nearby to chill and enjoy the view without spending loads on overpriced cafes.

I suggest visiting the fountain in the early morning around 8 AM to enjoy the quiet atmosphere and take some great photos without the crowds. It gets pretty busy later on!

I recommend stopping by early in the morning around 9 AM. The light is gorgeous for photos, and you'll avoid most of the crowds. Plus, you can enjoy a peaceful moment before it gets busy!
