I recommend getting there around 10 AM when it opens; it's less crowded and you can enjoy the exhibits at your own pace. Plus, the lighting for photos is better in the morning!

Check if they have any local crafts or food items for sale in the museum shop. I stumbled upon some unique souvenirs that were reasonably priced, unlike the tourist traps in the city!
