Acropolis of Athens

Pack plenty of water and some snacks. There's not much available inside, and you'll want to stay hydrated while exploring all the ruins.

Wear comfortable shoes! The paths are uneven, and trust me, you'll be doing a fair bit of walking. Sandals with good support worked great for me.

Visiting in the early morning around 8 AM is the best; you beat the crowds and the heat. Plus, the sunrise views over Athens are breathtaking!

Take a moment to really soak in the view from the top. I rushed through it initially, and now I wish I had spent more time enjoying the scenery and taking photos.
Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center

If you're into art, keep an eye out for any pop-up exhibitions. When I visited, there was a fantastic installation that wasn't advertised but totally worth seeing.

I suggest taking the time to explore the architecture of the building as you walk around. There are unique angles and perspectives that really make for great photos. It was my favorite part of the visit!

Bring a picnic! The park surrounding the center is lovely, and it’s a great way to relax without spending too much on food. Just grab some snacks from a local shop before heading over.
Athenian Agora

Don't skip the Museum! It’s small but packed with cool artifacts and helps you appreciate what you're walking around. I found a few hidden gems in there!

Pack a small picnic! The Agora has some lovely spots to chill and enjoy lunch, plus you can save a few euros instead of eating out.

I suggest visiting right when it opens at 8 am to beat the crowds and get some peaceful snaps of the ruins. The light is better for photos too!
Panathinaikos
I recommend going early, like around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and get those Instagram shots without people photobombing. Trust me, it’s way more chill before noon.
Olympian
Flizvos
Before you go, download a translation app. A lot of signs aren't in English and my phone helped me communicate with locals. It’s worth the extra bit of effort!

Try walking along the marina instead of taking a taxi to save some cash. It's a lovely stroll and you'll see some amazing yachts and cafes on the way.
Odeon of Herodes
my advice is to check if there are any performances happening during your visit. i stumbled upon a concert and it was an unforgettable experience amongst the ancient stones.

I suggest grabbing your tickets online beforehand to avoid the ticket lines. It saved me a lot of waiting around, and I could spend more time soaking in the history!
Technopolis
Central Municipal Athens Market
Temple of Hephaestus

My advice is to bring some water and snacks. There aren’t many places around to grab a bite, and you'll want to stay hydrated during your exploration.

I recommend taking a stroll around the surrounding area after your visit. There are some charming little shops and cafes that are fun to check out!

I think you should visit the Temple early in the morning around 8 am. It's much quieter then and you can really soak it all in without the crowds.
