Qutb Minar
India Gate
If you're not keen on heat, I suggest visiting in the early morning around 7 AM. It’s less crowded and much cooler, making for a lovely stroll.
Red Fort
I think you should check the weather before going. It got really hot when I visited, and I regretted not bringing a hat and sunscreen!
Lotus Temple
Bring a water bottle. There’s not much around, and the temple grounds require some walking. Stay hydrated while you soak in the beauty.
I suggest timing your visit for sunset. The light hitting the Lotus Temple is stunning and provides amazing photo opportunities!
Humayun Mausoleum
Get there right when they open at 6 AM to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and get some stunning photos without the crowds. Later in the day it gets really busy!
Bring a good pair of walking shoes. The grounds are extensive, and you'll want to explore every little nook and cranny of this beautiful site.
Check the weather before heading out. Visiting during the cooler months (October to March) makes a world of difference. I went in the summer and it was sweltering!
Don't skip the nearby gardens and other tombs like Isa Khan's Tomb – they’re less crowded and equally stunning. It was a nice surprise during my visit.
Akshardham
Delhi Cathedral Mosque
Be prepared for the security check at the entrance. There was a line, but it moved pretty ched so just be patient. I waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad.
I recommend exploring the area around the mosque after your visit. There are some really neat little shops and street food vendors to try out. I found an amazing chai stall nearby!
