Buy your tickets in advance online to save time. The queues can get really long, especially on weekends.
Matsumoto Castle
I suggest getting there right when it opens at 9 AM. You'll beat the crowds and get some great photos without a lot of people in the background!
I think the ticket price is really reasonable for what you get. However, if you're on a budget, try to eat lunch at a local convenience store instead of restaurants nearby to save some cash
Adachi Museum of Art
Don’t skip the tea house in the garden! I think it's a nice place to relax and enjoy a cup of matcha with a view, it really adds to the whole experience.
Plan to spend at least 3 hours here. I thought I could rush through it, but ended up wishing I had more time to soak it all in. Take your time!
The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology
Scmaglev and Railway Park
My advice is to grab a bento box from a nearby convenience store before you go in. They don't have a lot of food options inside, and I regretted not being prepared!
I highly recommend giving yourself at least 3-4 hours to explore. There’s a ton to see and do, and some exhibits are definitely worth taking time to enjoy fully.
The Sand Museum
I recommend visiting around 9 AM or right when they open. It gets busier later, and you'll want to enjoy the art without too many people photobombing your pics
I think you should bring some snacks or a light lunch. The food options around the museum are kinda limited and pricey, so save your money for souvenirs instead!
I suggest checking for specific sand sculpture exhibitions online before you go. I missed a seasonal showcase, and it looked amazing from the pictures I saw afterward!
My advice is to budget some extra time. The sculptures are huge and well-detailed, so you might find yourself taking way more photos than you planned!
Meiji Mura
Sendai Daikannon
I suggest getting there around 9 AM to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was nice to have the place almost to myself at that time!
