My advice is to wear water shoes. The steps getting down can get slippery, and trust me, you don’t want to take a tumble when you're excited to dive in!

Bring your own snorkel gear. Renting it there costs extra, and honestly, it’s much cooler to explore the water if you have your own stuff.

Get there by 8 am if you can! It’s way less crowded and you can really enjoy the water without all the noise. Plus, you’ll have more time for pics

I think if you don’t want to spend too much on food, pack a small picnic. There are plenty of shaded spots to chill after swimming, and the food on-site can be pricey.

My advice is to wear water shoes. The platform can get slippery, and you're gonna want to hop in the water without worrying about your feet!

I suggest wearing water shoes if you have them. The rocks can be super slippery and you definitely don’t want to end up with a nasty fall. Trust me it happened to someone in my group.

I think you should consider swimming in the cenote. It was stunning and refreshing after the hike down. Just be careful, the steps can be slippery!

I recommend checking out the local artisan shops nearby after your visit. I found some beautiful handmade souvenirs that were way cheaper than the tourist spots!
