The Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History

I think the lighting in some areas could be improved. In some exhibits, it was hard to see the details well. Still worth it, but I’d love it if they fix that.

Check out the museum’s online ticketing option. I saved some cash by buying tickets ahead of time instead of waiting in line.

I recommend you try to visit on a weekday, around 10 AM. It’s way less crowded and you can enjoy the exhibits without bumping into tons of people.

Don't miss the interactive displays, especially in the kid's section! It was really fun and engaging, even for adults. I wish I had spent more time there.
Cozia Monastery
Romanian Athenaeum
Triumphal Arch

I suggest taking some time to read the plaques around the area. There’s some interesting history, and it helps you appreciate the arch even more. But don't get stuck reading for too long.

If you're planning to visit on weekends, be ready for more tourists, and bring a bottle of water. You might end up spending a bit more time waiting around, so stay hydrated!

if you can, visit the triumphal arch on a weekday morning around 9 am. there are way fewer people, and you can grab those insta-worthy pics without the crowd!

I recommend checking out the nearby park before or after your visit. It's a nice place to relax and take some awesome photos, plus it's free!
Sinai Monastery

I suggest picking up a snack or light meal at a local café before you go in. The monastery itself doesn't have many food options.

Wear comfortable shoes! There are a few uneven paths and steps in the monastery that can be tricky, so you don't want to be struggling with those fancy shoes.
Start your visit around 9 AM. The morning light is great for photos, and you’ll beat the crowds coming in later.

Take your time exploring the artwork in the monastery. Some pieces have fascinating backstories that you might miss if you rush through it.
National Museum of Art of Romania
I'd suggest starting your visit right when the museum opens at 10 AM. It's much quieter then, and you can enjoy the art without feeling rushed or overcrowded.

Be sure to check out the café inside. I had a lovely coffee break there, and it’s a nice way to recharge without leaving the museum.
The Village Museum

I recommend visiting during the afternoon, around 3 PM. That’s when the sun hits the village beautifully, perfect for photos, and it’s usually quieter too!

I think it’s best to visit on a weekday if you can. The weekend crowds can be a bit overwhelming, and you’ll have a better experience exploring the exhibits without too many people around.

Check out the traditional crafts demos if you can. They’re super fun and give you a unique insight into the culture. I regret not taking more pics!

I suggest taking your time in the wooden churches; they’re works of art! I rushed through on my visit, and I wish I had spent more time admiring the details.
Decebalus Statue

If you're thinking of visiting, go early in the morning around 8 AM. The views are amazing with fewer tourists, plus you can take some great photos without anyone photobombing you.

My advice is to check the weather before your trip. I went on a cloudy day, and it didn’t do justice to how impressive the statue looks in sunlight!

I suggest bringing some snacks and water. There aren’t many food options around, and it can be a bummer being hungry while checking out the statue.
