Definitely book in advance, especially during peak season! I tried to walk in, and the slots were all full. Lessons are cheaper if you book online too. Save that cash for a nice meal later!

If you're nervous about paragliding, don't be shy to let the instructors know. They were super chill and helped ease my jitters. They want you to have fun and feel safe!

Don’t miss out on the photo package! I thought I could take good shots myself, but I ended up with blurry pics. The professionals really captured some epic moments of my flight.

I suggest checking the weather a few days ahead. Wind can change plans! The skies were pretty cloudy on my first try, but I rescheduled and got the best views on a clear day.
The Riding Centre
Thorndale Safari Hunting Lodge

My advice is to try the local cuisine offered at the lodge, but maybe stick to simpler dishes if you're unsure. I took a leap and it didn’t sit well with me later

I suggest bringing good binoculars! You’ll get the chance to see some amazing wildlife up close, and sometimes the animals are a bit far off. It made my experience so much better.
The Cango Caves

I suggest looking for combo tickets if you're planning to visit nearby attractions. I saved some cash doing that instead of buying individual tickets.

I found visiting early, around 9 AM, super helpful to avoid crowds. It was much easier to get good pictures and enjoy the caves without feeling rushed.

Check the weather before you go. It can get chilly in the caves, so bringing a light jacket was a good call for me!
Mountain View Horse Trails
The Shack

I recommend getting there around 6 PM if you want to grab a good spot, it tends to get packed later on. Plus, you can enjoy happy hour specials!

If you're into billiards, I suggest reserving a table in advance. I didn’t, and I had to wait a while before I could play!

The vibe is relaxed, so I think it’s a great place to chill with friends. Try their local beers; they’re pretty decent and reasonably priced!
NAC Helicopters

I suggest checking the weather before your trip. Clear skies make a massive difference in your experience, and they’re way more fun for taking in the views. My flight was a bit cloudy, so I missed some sights.

I highly recommend booking your flight in advance, as prices can fluctuate and you might save some cash. Plus, the earlier you book, the better the time slots you can choose from!

Consider arriving at least 30 minutes early. It gives you time to soak in the atmosphere, chat with the friendly staff, and take some pre-flight photos without rushing.

If you're a photography buff, request a seat by the window—it's an incredible vantage point for capturing the stunning views of Cape Town. Trust me, you won't regret it!
