If you can, try to book your lessons in the early morning around 9 am. The wind is usually calmer then, making it easier to learn and you avoid the craziness that comes later in the day.

I suggest renting gear instead of buying. The prices are pretty reasonable at High Five and you don't have to worry about packing and transporting all that heavy stuff. Trust me it’s a life saver!

Before heading out, check the weather conditions. It can change quickly, and I realized too late that checking the forecast would’ve saved me a day of chasing winds that never came.

My advice is to ask about package deals if you’re planning to take multiple lessons. I ended up saving a good chunk of change by bundling them, plus they were super flexible with the dates

I recommend booking your lessons in advance, especially during peak seasons. It was super busy when I went, and I wish I had scheduled my time better

I think it’s worth bringing your own snacks and water. The facilities are great, but the nearby shops can be pricey and limited in options.

My advice is to chat with the coaches; they’re really friendly and can give you tons of tips for improving your game. Making that connection really enhanced my experience.

I suggest looking for package deals if you're planning on taking multiple classes. I found out they offer discounts for bundles, so I saved a good chunk of change. Plus, it kept me motivated to keep learning and sailing!

Definitely check the weather before booking! I underestimated the wind conditions and ended up with a much choppier ride than I wanted. I think late morning around 10 am is the best time to go out for smoother sailing.

Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks! The onsite café is a bit pricey and the lines can be long. I ended up spending way more than I planned, so pack some goodies to save cash.

if you can try going during the weekdays instead of weekends. it can get super crowded and you’ll have way more space to enjoy the water. i went on a saturday and regretted not checking the calendar beforehand.
