Top Mountains in Western Cape

Start your hike around 6 AM to catch the sunrise – it's absolutely stunning and way less crowded! Bring a good camera, you'll want to snap lots of pics at the top

The views from the top are worth every step, but don’t forget to take a moment and just breathe in the scenery. I rushed it the first time but slowed down on my second hike and loved it!

Wear good hiking shoes! I wore my regular trainers and they didn’t cut it on the rocky parts. Investing in proper gear makes a huge difference.

I recommend going for sunset around 6:30 PM. The views are absolutely stunning, but it does get crowded, so try to snag a good spot early.

My advice is to bring water and snacks. The hike can be a bit more than you expect and it's nice to have a little energy boost once you reach the top.

I suggest parking at the lower parking lot. It's free and saves you the hassle of driving around looking for a spot near the top. Just mind the closing time to avoid getting locked in!
