Top Architecture in Marmara

Don’t skip the lower floors! The historical exhibits and the ambiance are charming and offer great context before heading up to enjoy the skyline view.

Try to visit right around 8 AM or just before closing at 8 PM. The crowds are way lighter then and you get the best photo ops of the city without too many people in the way.

Grab a map at the entrance! It's easy to get lost among the 4,000+ shops. I didn't do this and it took me ages to find my way back to the main entrance.

Don't forget to look up at the incredible dome. The architecture blew my mind! I almost missed it because I was looking at the floor first, haha!

Make sure to check out the mosaics up close. The details are stunning! I suggest taking a few minutes just to absorb everything—it's really worth it!

Get there by 8:00 AM when it opens. The early bird really catches the worm! It was way less crowded, and I could take nice pics without tons of people in the background.

I think it's worth allocating at least three hours for your visit. You’ll want time to take photos, wander through the gardens, and really take it all in.

I recommend visiting right when the palace opens at 9 am. The crowds are minimal then, and you can explore the stunning rooms without feeling rushed.

My tip is to wear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking in the area, and the stones can be a bit uneven. I regretted my fancy shoes halfway through!

Try to catch the evening call to prayer when you’re there. The atmosphere is amazing and gives you a true sense of the place – just magical!
