My advice is to wear good hiking boots. I didn’t, and my feet were sore by the end. The paths can get a bit slippery with mud, especially after rain.
I suggest getting there early, around 8 AM, to avoid crowds and get the best views. It was way less busy when I arrived then compared to later in the day.
