I suggest bringing plenty of water and snacks. The heat can really sneak up on you, and buying food on-site can drain your wallet! I spent way too much at the snack stand.
I recommend visiting early in the morning, like 7 AM. The dunes are way less crowded, and the sunrise is stunning! Plus, you can beat the blazing sun later in the day.
