Piedmont Park
I suggest bringing your own water bottle and refilling it; there's a water fountain not too far from the entrance, which really helps keep costs low when you're thirsty.
If you're driving, arrive before 10 AM on weekends to snag a parking spot. After that, it's a total hustle!
Centennial Olympic Park
Check out the fountain in the park but be prepared to get splashed if you get too close! It’s fun, just make sure your phone is safe from water.
I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. You might end up walking more than you expect, especially if you want to explore everything and nearby areas
I recommend visiting the park early in the morning, around 8 AM, to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the crowds show up. It felt like I had the place to myself for a bit!
Bring some snacks or a picnic. There are plenty of spots to relax and enjoy your food, plus it’ll save you some cash instead of eating out.
Forsyth Park
If you're going to walk around, wear comfy shoes! It’s a bigger park than it looks, and my feet were killing me by the end of the day.
My advice is to bring a picnic! There are lovely spots to eat, and it’ll save you some cash instead of hitting nearby cafes.
I think you should check out the fountains, but don’t forget sunscreen! I got a bit too sunburned last time because I was so busy admiring them
Historic Fourth Ward Park
I think bringing your own snacks and drinks can save cash. The nearby food stalls can be pricey for a family outing, and picnicking is fun!
I suggest exploring the little trails that branch off. They’re not super well marked, but I found some really pretty spots that weren’t crowded at all. Worth the adventure!
