Piedmont Park

Hit up the park on a weekday if you can. It's way less crowded and you can really enjoy the nature without feeling rushed.

Don’t overlook the events calendar! I stumbled upon a local art fair that made my day extra special without spending a dime.

I suggest bringing your own water bottle and refilling it; there's a water fountain not too far from the entrance, which really helps keep costs low when you're thirsty.
If you're driving, arrive before 10 AM on weekends to snag a parking spot. After that, it's a total hustle!
Centennial Olympic Park

Look for the special events calendar before your visit. I stumbled upon a live music event which added so much to my experience. I didn't even know it was happening.

Check out the fountain in the park but be prepared to get splashed if you get too close! It’s fun, just make sure your phone is safe from water.

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. You might end up walking more than you expect, especially if you want to explore everything and nearby areas

I recommend visiting the park early in the morning, around 8 AM, to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the crowds show up. It felt like I had the place to myself for a bit!
Forsyth Park

Look for local art shows or events happening there! I stumbled on one and enjoyed some amazing local talent. It was a nice surprise.

If you're going to walk around, wear comfy shoes! It’s a bigger park than it looks, and my feet were killing me by the end of the day.
My advice is to bring a picnic! There are lovely spots to eat, and it’ll save you some cash instead of hitting nearby cafes.
I think you should check out the fountains, but don’t forget sunscreen! I got a bit too sunburned last time because I was so busy admiring them
Historic Fourth Ward Park

I recommend checking out the park in the early morning, around 8 AM. The light is gorgeous for photos and it's super peaceful before the crowds roll in.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. The pathways are nice, but you’ll do a fair bit of walking if you want to see everything. I wasn't prepared and my feet were not happy.

I think bringing your own snacks and drinks can save cash. The nearby food stalls can be pricey for a family outing, and picnicking is fun!

I suggest exploring the little trails that branch off. They’re not super well marked, but I found some really pretty spots that weren’t crowded at all. Worth the adventure!
Woodruff Park

Check out the fountains when you visit! They’re not just pretty; they also make a fun splash zone for kids. Just don’t forget a towel if you get caught up!

I recommend exploring the nearby attractions, like the Underground Atlanta, but don’t spend too much time there. Get back to the park for some rest in the shade; it's a nice escape from the city buzz.
