Willis Tower

I think taking the stairs down from the Skydeck really added to my experience - plus you’ll avoid that elevator wait. Just be ready for a little leg workout!
I had the best time taking pictures on The Ledge, but it’s super popular, so make sure you keep an eye on your time to snap those shots before it gets crowded!

I suggest going on a weekday if you can. The lines are way shorter and you can really take your time enjoying the views without heaving crowds everywhere!

My advice is to check the weather before you go. A clear day is the best for those skyline photos. Nobody wants a foggy view!
Skydeck Chicago

I recommend buying your tickets online before you go. It saves you time waiting in line, and sometimes you can find discounts too, especially during off-peak hours. Plus, you’ll feel like a pro skipping that long queue.

Try to visit during the week instead of the weekend. Trust me, I went on a Saturday and it was packed! Exploring with fewer people around made the experience much more enjoyable.

Don't forget to check out the video presentations inside. They're quick but super informative. I thought I’d skip them, but they added a nice touch to my visit!
John Hancock Center

Check the weather before you go. A clear day makes all the difference; I went on a cloudy day, and the views weren’t great

I recommend visiting the observation deck right when it opens at 9 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can enjoy the views without fighting for a spot.

grab a drink or snack at the café up there; prices are steep, but it's a great way to soak in the view while you recharge.
My advice is to take your time on the observation deck – don’t rush through it. The sunset views are stunning if you can stick around until then.
360 Chicago

I recommend checking for combo tickets online. I saved a few bucks by getting a bundle with other attractions. Definitely worth it!

I think visiting right at 9 AM is the best. You’ll beat the crowds and have plenty of time to enjoy the views without feeling rushed.
Cerise Rooftop

I think reservations are a must if you're going on a weekend. I didn’t and had to wait a while, it was kind of a bummer. Just plan ahead!
If you want the best photos, head to the rooftop edge for that iconic skyline shot, but be quick—you’ll have to wait in line to get there sometimes!

I recommend arriving around 5 PM to catch the sunset, it’s absolutely gorgeous and way less crowded. Trust me, the view is totally worth it
Joy District

For a cheaper experience, consider going on a weeknight instead of the weekend. The vibe is still great, and you'll save on drinks!

Definitely check out the rooftop bar during sunset! The views are unreal and you can grab a well-priced happy hour drink before it gets crowded around 6 PM.
Fox In A Box Escape Room Chicago

I think it's a good idea to split the cost of the room with your group. It can get a bit pricey, and sharing makes it more affordable!

My advice is to ask for hints if you're stuck. The staff at Fox In A Box is really helpful and won't judge you for needing a nudge.

If you're a newbie, opt for the easier rooms first. I tried the hardest one and let's just say, it wasn't pretty!
Cigars & Stripes BBQ Lounge

I suggest getting there no later than 6 PM if you want a good seat. It fills up fast by 7, especially on weekends. I missed out on a cozy spot because I arrived too late!

I think you should check out their happy hour specials. I almost skipped it, but snagged a killer deal on drinks and appetizers that I'd have regretted missing

I recommend looking for combo deals on food and drinks... I stumbled upon one that saved me quite a bit... Wish I had noticed it sooner!

My advice is to try their sampler platter. It’s a great way to taste a mix of meats without breaking the bank, and you'll definitely want to try a bit of everything.
