Top Botanical Gardens in New York

I recommend checking out the website for special events or free days. I stumbled upon a free concert, which was a pretty awesome surprise!

Visit on a weekday if you can. It was sooo much less crowded than on weekends. I got to enjoy the gardens without feeling rushed. Just lovely.

Plan your route ahead of time. The garden is huge, and I missed some cool areas because I wandered aimlessly. Grab a map at the entrance!

Wear comfy shoes because you'll be doing a lot of walking. I wore sandals, and by the end of the day, my feet were done for! Sneakers are way better

Bring a picnic! There are lovely spots to relax with food, plus it saves you money compared to the cafe. I packed sandwiches and it was perfect!

Don't miss the Cherry Esplanade in spring; it's like walking through a fairytale! I only stumbled upon it by chance, and it was breathtaking.
