Biltmore Estate

definitely buy your tickets online a few days in advance. it saved me some bucks and skipped the long lines at the entrance!

I suggest arriving by 9 AM when it opens to beat the crowds. The gardens are stunning in the morning light, plus you’ll have more time to explore without feeling rushed.

Skip the main entrance and head to the Back Entrance at the Stable Courtyard for a different perspective of the estate. I stumbled upon this and it was less crowded and just as beautiful!

If you're planning to take a lot of pictures, consider the golden hour in the late afternoon. The lighting really makes the architecture pop and your photos will look amazing!
Grave Digger Dungeon

My advice is to buy tickets online in advance. I waited in line for almost an hour and ended up missing some cool parts of the tour. Save that time for exploring!

I suggest checking the weather before you go. They had a special outdoor exhibit that I missed because of rain. A nice sunny day could make your visit even better!
The Minor Basilica of St. Lawrence the Deacon & Martyr

My advice is to dress in layers... It can get a bit chilly inside with the AC, but you'll want to be comfortable walking around outside too

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can. The crowds are way smaller, and you can really soak in the beauty of the architecture without feeling rushed.
Grove Arcade
If you’re into architecture, don’t rush through. Take your time exploring the intricate details - I missed some cool features because I was moving too fast. Just enjoy the vibe.

Check out the local shops and eateries on the lower levels; they often have unique finds that you won’t see elsewhere. I stumbled upon a cool artisan shop and grabbed some handmade jewelry at a great price!
