If you're looking for a great photo op, the kangaroo exhibit is super cute, but try to visit it right after they open at 10 AM when it's quieter.

Pack a picnic! There are beautiful spots to eat around the zoo if you want to save a little cash instead of dining at the cafe.

I recommend buying your tickets online ahead of time to skip the lines when you arrive. It saves you a good chunk of time, trust me!
