Magens Bay Beach

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks, 'cause the beach concessions are kinda pricey and not super tasty... I saved a bunch just by packing a cooler with some sandwiches and soda

My advice is to check the tide schedule if you're planning to swim. When we went, the tide was high, and it restricted our swimming area a bit. A quick app search helped us the next day!

Try to arrive by 9 AM to snag a good parking spot and enjoy the beach before it gets super crowded. By mid-morning, finding a spot can feel like a struggle!
Coki Point Beach

Bring some cash for beach chairs and umbrellas; the rentals can add up quickly! I ended up spending way more than I intended.

Don’t miss out on the locals’ beach shacks for food; I found the best fish tacos there for way less than restaurant prices
Honeymoon Beach

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The little beach shacks charge a premium, so save some cash by packing a cooler. We didn't and ended up spending way too much on water!

My advice is to visit around 4 PM. The crowd starts thinning out and you get that perfect golden hour for photos without too many people bumbling in the background. Plus, the waves were super mellow around that time

I think it’s worth exploring the beach to the right of Honeymoon. It's less crowded and more peaceful. I missed that gem the first time, but trust me, it’s a great spot to relax.
Virgin Islands National Park

Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks! Food inside the park can be pricier than expected, and you don't want to waste time looking for overpriced grub. Pack a picnic!

I recommend getting to the park really early, like around 7 AM, to snag a good parking spot and beat the crowds. Trust me, it makes a huge difference for a more peaceful hike

I suggest planning your activities based on the weather. Some trails can be slippery when wet, so check forecasts and maybe save the Annaberg Trail for a sunny day instead!
Trunk Bay

I suggest getting to Trunk Bay around 8 AM to snag a good parking spot and enjoy the beach before it gets crowded. The early morning light is stunning too!

My advice is to wear water shoes if you plan on snorkeling. The rocks can be pretty sharp, and it's much more enjoyable if you're comfy in the water.

I recommend bringing your own snacks instead of buying food there. The prices can be a bit high and you'll save more for fun stuff like renting gear!
Brewers Bay Beach

Bring your own snacks and drinks! There are limited options nearby and they can be pricey. I saved a ton of cash by packing a cooler. Trust me, you’ll appreciate having your favorites handy.

Check the tide schedule before you go, as the beach can get a little rocky at low tide. I went during low tide and there were more shells than beach! It was cool to explore, but not great for swimming.

If you want to beat the crowd, get there before 9 AM. We got a prime spot, but by 10, it was packed! The early morning vibe was way more chill
Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge

I think the best views are from the beach area, so plan to spend some time there and bring a towel to relax. Just remember, sunscreen is a must!

I recommend getting there early, like around 7 AM, if you want to beat the crowds and see more wildlife. The morning light is beautiful too!
Smith Bay Beach

If you're into snorkeling, don't miss the morning hours! The water was so clear and the marine life was super active. I could’ve spent hours just floating around!

My advice is to avoid the weekends if you can. I went on a Saturday and it was packed! Weekdays felt way more relaxing and less crowded, plus you might score a better parking spot.

I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks, the prices at the beach bars can be a bit steep! I totally regretted not packing some munchies for my visit
Maho Bay Beach

If you're looking to rent equipment, check out local shops instead of beachfront vendors. They often have better rates and you’ll avoid feel pressured to rent on the spot

Try to get there by 10 AM to snag a good spot on the beach and avoid the crowds. Plus, the early sun is perfect for those Insta shots!
Sandy Point Beach

My advice is to explore the walking trails near the beach. They provide a great way to see wildlife, and it's a nice break from just being on the sand

I suggest hitting the beach early, like around 8 AM. You’ll snag a good parking spot and enjoy the morning calmness before the crowds roll in.
