My advice is to grab a combo ticket if you plan to visit multiple sites. I missed out on saving some euros by not knowing it existed. The extra sites were totally worth it!
I suggest visiting in the afternoon around 3 PM when the crowds thin out. It gave me a chance to explore the ruins without bumping into too many people plus the lighting is awesome for photos!
