Bring snacks and water! There are no services up near the hills, so pack a lunch. We got hungry after a few hours and ended up missing some great sledding time to go back and find food.

Make sure to arrive by 10 AM. That way, you beat the crowds and get a prime spot to sled. I got there later and had to hike up a bit to find a good hill.

If you're planning to go on a weekend, try to go early in the season, like late December or early January. The snow was way better then, and the crowds were manageable. By February, it gets super busy!
