For beginners, the ski school is a must, but book your lessons in advance. They fill up quickly during peak times and I learned that the hard way!
If you're renting gear consider doing it in town instead of on the mountain. It's usually cheaper and you avoid the hassle of long lines at the ski shop on the slopes
