Nature Places Map
Nature in Valparaiso:
Caleta Portales Beach
Bring some snacks and drinks, 'cause beach kiosks can be pricy. I splurged on a latte that was totally not worth it!
Caleta Abarca Beach
Don't miss the sunset! It paints the sky in awesome colors. I’d say around 7 PM is the perfect time to grab a spot and just chill out.
El Sol Beach
If you're planning to rent an umbrella try to haggle a bit! I got mine for half the price by just asking nicely.
My advice is to visit El Sol Beach in the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The crowds thin out, and the sunset views are absolutely stunning!
El Durazno Beach
Don't forget sunscreen. The sun can be pretty intense, and I got burned despite thinking I was fine. Plus, consider bringing a hat and sunglasses for extra protection.
Las Torpederas Beach
Don't bother with the public restrooms; they can be pretty rough. I suggest you just plan a stop at a nearby café beforehand before you get to the beach
Los Enamorados Beach
Acapulco Beach Vina del Ma
For the best sunset views, find a good spot around 7:30 PM. It gets pretty crowded, so show up a bit early to grab a nice place to sit.
Loncura Beach
Don’t forget your cash! Some of the local food stands don’t accept cards. I nearly missed out on a delicious empanada because I didn’t bring enough money.
Docas Beach
Balneario Las Salinas
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The beach bars can charge a fortune, and honestly, the view is just as nice with your picnic as it is with a fancy cocktail.
If you're planning to rent a sunbed, try to negotiate the price a bit. I didn't, and ended up paying more than I should have. A little haggling can go a long way!
