I suggest checking out the local food stalls in the food court. The prices are way more reasonable than the sit-down restaurants, and you get a real taste of Colombian flavors!

My advice is to use the restrooms in the back, they were much cleaner compared to the ones near the main food court. It can be a lifesaver for comfort during your visit!

I think you should save some time to just stroll around the outside of the shopping center. The architecture is gorgeous and it's a perfect spot for a little break!

I recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. There are places to refill it around, and it’ll save you some cash instead of buying drinks every time!

I recommend visiting in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The light is beautiful for photos, and it’s not too crowded, so you can really soak in the vibe.

Check for any local events happening in the plaza... When I went, there was live music, and it made the visit so much more lively! Totally unexpected and awesome

Grab a coffee from one of the local stands before you explore - it’s not just tasty but also helps you support small businesses here. Plus, the people are super friendly!

If you can, bring cash instead of card. Some stalls don’t take cards and I missed out on a great piece because I didn't have enough cash on me.

I suggest visiting Las Bovedas in the early morning, around 9 AM, to avoid crowds and get better deals from the vendors... Trust me, it gets super busy as the day goes on!

My advice is to bring some cash, especially small bills. Some street vendors only take cash, and it helps with quick purchases without needing to break larger bills.

I suggest visiting around 4 PM when the sun is setting. The lighting makes for awesome photos, and the crowd starts thinning out, so you can enjoy the architecture more.

I recommend checking out the nearby restaurants first before diving into a meal; I found a place that had fresh seafood at a lower price compared to the more touristy spots right on the plaza.

Check out the small shops around the plaza but don't buy anything too quickly; some places have negotiable prices! I found a few handmade items at half the price after chatting with the owners.

Don’t miss the little museum next door! It costs only a few extra pesos and has some cool historical stuff. I almost skipped it thinking it was just a gift shop. Total mistake!

Benjamin January 9, 2025

My advice is to bring a small bottle of water. It gets pretty warm inside, and while there are fans, staying hydrated is key. I was wishing for some water halfway through my visit!

I suggest visiting the church on a weekday, ideally around 10 AM. The crowd is way smaller, and you can really soak in the beauty without feeling rushed. I went on a Sunday, and it was packed.

If you're on a budget, look for combo tickets that include other nearby attractions. I wasted a little time buying separate tickets

user avatar
Margaret January 26, 2025

My advice is to check out nearby street vendors for some delicious local snacks after your visit. I found some tasty arepas that weren't in many tourist guides!

user avatar
David January 22, 2025

I recommend visiting around 4 PM when the light hits the cathedral beautifully for photos and it’s less crowded. I wish I had known this earlier!

I think it's worth taking some time to explore the surrounding plaza. There’s often live music or street performers that really add to the experience.
